It's been a long time that I haven't seen my friend Alexone and we finally met up at AT DOWN gallery in Montpellier
for their first show called MTA for Mist Tilt Alexone. Let's wish long life to the gallery...
Sunugal Dakar, Senegal, feb. 2013
I don't know why but I felt that I needed to go far away by myself for my 40th birthday.
So I decided to go to Africa cause that was the last continent I haven't visited yet. After 2 days
of negotiations I finally gat my scooter and was able to start my little road trip to the south.
Dirty Fortilt Toulouse, France, feb. 2013
I just landed at Toulouse airport when my friend Piou came to pick me up and took me to my studio for what I started to feel like a birthday surprise. And I was right. Almost all my friends were there waiting for me and Reso had organized a big wall already primed pink. Even if the cold was there, it was exactly the kind of birthday I wanted to have. So thanks a lot my bros from left to right: Teoz, Sike, Reso, Grizz, Brok, Mist, Alex, Tilt, Der, Tober, Lenz, Kool T, Panks
All you can eat Los Angeles, USA, jan. 2013
Nine months after " French invasion " group show, Fabien Castanier decided to set up a solo exhibition for me.
I was so happy to go back to L.A and this time my bro Tober was part of the trip. As usual, the weather was
perfect. SEEN invited me to work at his studio for 2 weeks before moving to Vegas and we had great time
with Olivia and him. We went to skate Venice. My friend Autumn gave us a crazy suite at the Cosmopolitan
and Tober made money at the Casino during our short trip to Vegas. I finally met RISK at my opening. We had
Fat Burger and Pink Berry almost everyday. Fabien did an amazing job. I never saw as much high heels at the L.A Art-show.
What else could I expect from the city of Angels...
Closer to God in heels Yverdons Les Bains, Switzerland, dec. 2012
La Grille gallery invited me to exhibit my #1 fetishism : High heels shoes. It's always a pleasure for me to draw heels cause they represent a kind of obsession for the my last 25 years. I went to Switzerland for the opening with my friends Tober and Lenz and what a surprise when we saw a train with our names on it. I guess it was a " Welcome gift " from some local writers to us.... Hahaha!!!!!
Elevate Atlanta, USA, oct. 2012 Atlanta, Georgia is one of the sister cities for my hometown, Toulouse France. This year, through a partnershipof both cities Offices of Cultural Affairs and the French Consulate to Atlanta, I was invited to participate in the 2012 editionof the Elevate AtlantaArt Festival. This was my first time to Atlanta. I painted this American flag mural made of names. I collected these names from people I met during my time on South Broad Street, the location of my artwork. It was a great experience.
I had many opportunities to meet many different " Americans ", long time residents, store owners, homeless community members, Vietnam vets, a couple by the name "Gay Judges", local Hip Hop stars, preachers, grandmas, gangstas, workers etc, etc...
On the same block, PUSH, HENSE, SEVER and BORN presented big murals as well. My friend GriZZ aka Big Addict was there with me. He produced this beautiful video with very cool pictures.
They speak louder than I ... so, enjoy..!
